Sister nightingale's Nursing Home is more akin to an hotel for the Elderly as opposed to the general image, portrayed by the media, of institutionalised and regimented "care".? That is so far removed from the reality of living at Sister nightingale's it is laughable.? The real difference between us and an Hotel is that our guests are exclusively elderly and our waitresses are also nurses!

Established in 1990, by the current owners, Richard and Jane Potter, Sister Nightingale's has built a formidable reputation as on eof the premier Nursing Homes in the City of Cardiff.? We do not consider ourselves as a "Nursing Home", we are a "Home from home".? All our guests enjoy breakfast in bed, should they wish it, followed by "elevenses", lunch, afternoon tea, high tea and supper.

Guests may rise in the morning whenever it suits them, retire to bed at their choice.? Special diets are catered for, regular weekly entertainment a permanent fixture and three lovely lounges to relax in during the day.? Large gardens provide seclusion.

Situated only 1 mile from the City centre, in the leafy suburb of Roath, Sister Nightingale's offers so much our guests are spoilt for choice.? "Choice" is our watchword.? It is ours guests' Home and they are safe and secure within it.
